What do you need to look for when searcing for the worldview of a text.

You need to loook for the diction and ideas/images when searching for the worldview of a text. The audience should be able to identify the hidden concepts in the text.

Paradise Lost should not simply viewed with a religious perspective. The readers can imply this piece as humans' destinies and the justice of God. According to Milton, humans were created in God's perfect image; however, Adam and Eve freely chose to violate the rule. Consequently, they experienced physical and spiritual death and lost the peace and freedom in the Garden of Eden which was God given gifts. Satan planned these consequences, so Messiah later destroyed Satan and promised to rescue humans. This supports an idea that the humans' hope of possibility of being saved is either in Hell or Heaven.
